FISHING
Senegal offers some of the best
fishing sport sites in the world. The
lagoons and the delta area are excellent
locations for fishing. The
tourists prefer using the
piroque to go around the islands for fishing. The
variety of sea fish available during the tides makes it a paradise to
the angling enthusiasts.
MOTOR SPORTS
Senegal
is also a favorite place for Motor Sports. The
famous Paris – Dakar Motor race has its terminal point here in Dakar. From the Atlantic ocean in the west to the
Republic of Mali in the east through the savannah region; from St Louis
on the north to the green deltas in the south through the clean sandy
cost line- the motor sports offer the thrill
and pleasure that no one can ever imagine to get from any where else.
MUSIC
The
Senegal has very high tradition in its
music and arts. There are some really good
artists in Senegal now whose albums shall inebriate the music lover to fantasies
of exhilaration.
This
multi ethnic land has similarly multi ethnic music as well. each ethnic group maintain a unique variety of musical
instruments and traditional music.

Youssou
N'Dour
One of Africa's most important performers. His
music has reached a world wide audience through collaborations with
artists like Peter Gabriel, Neneh Cherry, and Branford Marsalis.
Baaba Maal
A highly talented singer from Senegal. Either
with an acoustic guitar playing for the traditional folk music or
playing the hottest melodies for dance, he is rarely
surpassed in Senegal by any other artist. Currently he has attracted
the world’s attention as well.
