  CLIMATE   

Niger is the frying pan of the world particularly in the north,  where even rain drops  evaporate before it reaches the ground.  On an average, rain the northern Air massif is about 7 inches per annum.   As wee move towards the south, rain fall increases from 9 to 30 inches annually. 

July and August receive almost the entire rain.  Novembr to February is the dry season.  The temperature  is 290  C ( 850  F)at minimum during dry season and 40.50 C ( 1050F ) at the maximum during humid season.
