Passport/Visa

PASSPORTS:
 

All applicants should have the validity of their passports at least 6 months from the date of entry.  This rule is exempted for the nationals  with valid ID cards from the  t African countries viz- Algeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger , Senegal, Togo and Tunisia.  
VISAS:
 

Visa is required for all  visitors to Mali for a stay of 3 months except for 

1.                All nationals from ECOWAS  MEMBER COUNTRIES

2.                Algeria, Cameroon, Chad, Mauritania, Morocco and Tunisia. 

 
Transit Passengers 

Transit passengers with connection flight with in 24 hrs and holding a valid return ticket need not have visa if they  choose to stay at the air port. 

Tourist & Business Visa. 

Valid from the  date  of entry, these can be extended in Mali at the Immigration Office in the capital or any police station.


 Application requirements:  

(a) Valid passport. (b) Two application forms (must be completed in block capitals and returned to the consulate with several photocopies of the form). (c) Two passport-size photos. (d) Stamped, self-addressed envelope for postal applications (which must be sent by registered post). (e) Fee; payable in cash, company cheque or postal order (personal cheques are not accepted). (f) For business trips, two letters of invitation from the local establishment. 
At least three working days are required for processing the application forms.
