sealed and in good driving condition. Heavy rains hardly cause many
problems in the place. Right-handed driving is prevalent and an International
Driving License and Insurance is a must.

ELECTRICAL POWER
The Electricity is of
power 220V and runs at 50 Hz. The “Round pin attachment plug”
and the “ Round pin plug and receptacle with male grounding pin “
are the plug types used.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Note: Payments via insurance
companies are not acceptable by the medical providers of Ivory
Coast. You are required to pay the complete amount following your
treatment and then file a claim with the insurance company asking for
compensation. Thus, it is better to have easy access to cash in this
place wither though a Credit Card or by wire transfer. For any help,
contact the country’s local embassy or representative.
In order to be applicable
for reimbursement, make sure you are treated by a licensed
medical personnel and also, you are required to submit proper
documentation and receipts to the insurance company.
It is advised that you
make sure you have a comprehensive travel insurance policy
covering you for repatriation to your home country.
