 CLIMATE

 The climate can be called subtropical with cool and hot seasons. Hot and humid weather prevails during most part of the year interspersed by the rains from June to October. The highest temperatures during this period may be about 43.4°C (110°F) with areas near the sea recording lower temperatures. The period from November to mid-May, there is continuous dry weather and low temperatures-7°C (45°F) are recorded in Banjul and nearby areas.
