TRAVEL INSURANCE
It
is not possible to pay for your medical expenses in Gambia through your
insurance company. The only option is to make full payments after
treatments and later get them reimbursed at your insurance company
through claims. However this is possible only if you are treated by licensed medical personnel and you provide your insurance
company with proper documentation and receipts. Always
ensure you have a comprehensive travel insurance policy, which covers
you for repatriation to your home country.
Payments will be simplified if you have access to cash, either from a
credit card or by wire transfer. The country's local embassy or
representative will be able to help.
