TRANSPORT & GETTING AROUND
By Air
An internal service runs flights between,
Cotonou, Parakou, Djougu, Kandi and Natitingou and 2 seater
planes can also be chartered.
By Train
A single railway line links Cotonou with
Bohicon, Savé and Parakou. Travelling is free for those under four
years of age and half-price for those between four and nine. Parakou is
13 hours from Cotonou. The seats are cushioned only in the first class,
on the route to Parakou.
By Bus
Minibuses and bush taxis are the primary forms
of commutation. You can also hire taxis in the main towns.
